The Method
How Kong Cloud sees markets.
The math, the cadence, the sieve. Everything Kong does, written down.
01
The indicator
Kong Cloud is two smoothed moving averages on hl2: fast 15, slow 29. A 3-bar confirmation gate prevents whip.
When the fast crosses above the slow and holds for three closes, the trend turns bullish. Below — bearish. No discretion. No exception. The same lens applied to every market.
02
The cadence
Every four hours, on every asset Kong covers. That is the schedule the math runs on. No human in the loop, no manual override, no off-hours.
~600 assets across crypto, equities, indices, forex, commodities and rates. Six classes. One indicator. Same hl2, same 15/29, same 3-bar confirmation — applied identically whether the asset is BTC, AAPL, EURUSD, gold or the VIX.
03
The turn
A turn is the moment Kong Cloud's two smoothed averages cross and hold. It is a coordinate in time — nothing more.
Most turns are noise. Range-bound chop. Liquidity hunts. Failed breakouts that revert in two bars. The math is honest about this — every cross gets logged, even the ones that won't survive what comes next.
04
The sieve
Most turns will not become Primes. The sieve is what separates structure from noise — four filters running in series:
- Pattern confluence. Do other technical patterns — break-of-structure, range-edge tests, momentum divergences — confirm the turn?
- Indicator agreement. Does momentum agree? Does the volatility regime support it? Does volume?
- Regime context. Is this turn happening inside a broader market regime that supports it, or against one that fights it?
- Conviction scoring. How much multi-timeframe alignment is there? Higher timeframes carry more weight than lower ones.
What passes all four is rare. That rarity is the point.
05
The Prime
What survives the sieve is a Prime. A graded analytical observation on direction, regime, momentum and structure.
Each Prime carries a Kong Score from 0 to 100. The score is a measure of multi-timeframe alignment at the moment of the turn. It is not a price target. It is not a probability of profit. It is the math's confidence that the structure observed is real.
A Prime is an observation. It is not a recommendation. What you do with it is yours.
06
What this is not
Kong does not execute trades. No broker integration. No exchange API key. No custody of funds. Ever.
Kong does not give financial advice. It states what the math sees. Direction, regime, conviction — facts about the market's posture at a point in time. Never a buy, never a sell, never a target.
Kong is transparent by design. The indicator is published. The cadence is published. The methodology — this page — is published. Verify it against your own data, your own broker, your own eyes. Form your own view.
